How does Payroll Jamaica calculate PAYE?

Payroll Jamaica uses the current TAJ-approved PAYE formula. The annual tax-free threshold (currently JMD 1,799,376) is applied first, then income is taxed at 25% up to JMD 6,000,000 and 30% above that. All thresholds are configurable by your admin.

What statutory deductions are calculated automatically?

Payroll Jamaica automatically calculates PAYE income tax, NIS (National Insurance Scheme), NHT (National Housing Trust), Education Tax, and HEART/NSTA contributions for both employees and employers.

Can I generate S01 and S02 forms for TAJ?

Yes. Payroll Jamaica generates monthly S01 remittance summaries and annual S02 returns in formats compatible with the TAJ online portal.

How do I export payroll for my bank?

Payroll Jamaica generates batch EFT/CSV files formatted for Jamaican banks including NCB and Scotiabank, ready for bulk upload.

Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We use role-based access control and audit logs for every action.
